Besides the competition, there is a lot to discover during the Viking Triathlon powered by Continentale BKK. You will have the opportunity to test and buy next season’s equipment at the Sports Expo, to enjoy culinary delights at the Food Festival or to celebrate with us at the After-Race-Party. We also want to present you the best hot spots on the course, so you won’t miss your athletes at any time. To get a better overview, click here to virtually dive into the event area. Sport-Expo

During the Viking Triathlon powered by Continentale BKK, there will be a Sport-Expo on the Königswiesen. Here you will find exhibitors specialized in nutrition, textiles, as well as equipment for all three disciplines. In a cozy atmosphere right in the heart of the event area, you can browse both on Friday and on the day of the competition. The opening hours are:

Food-Festival and After-Race-Party

In addition to the Sport-Expo, a Food-Festival will be set up on the Königswiesen. From regional vendors, savory and sweet food, or a cool drink, the food festival will satisfy every desire. The setup is in a setting similar to the weekly market, and you can be inspired and guided by the many different offerings in the center. Opening hours are:

After the competition, participants can celebrate their performance at the After-Race-Party, complete with a DJ, a large tent with space for dancing, and catering from the Food-Festival. The party will start at 20:00.

Residents

The barriers, which are needed to ensure the safety of the athletes, will cause some restrictions on the day of the event, as well as during the set-up and dismantling phases. To ensure that you as a resident are not affected by these, we would like to inform you in advance about the closures and the associated detour. Access to and from Schleswig will not be impeded at any time by the event. There may only be a slight delay, for example, around Gottorf Castle and Flensburger Straße, where motorists must cross the bicycle route.
